What is agentic AI?

Agentic AI is the use of large language models to take actions, not just generate responses. An AI agent is given goals, access to tools (your CMS, your CRM, a search index, an API), and trusted to plan and execute steps to complete tasks. RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) is a foundational pattern: the model is given access to your specific knowledge base so it answers from your data, not just from its training.
