What is Platform Assurance?

Platform support and maintenance is the ongoing engineering, monitoring and support work that keeps a digital platform secure, performant and reliable after launch: monitoring, security patching, bug fixes, dependency updates, and incident response. It's distinct from hosting (which keeps the servers running) and from improvement work (which builds new features).
